Gerald Duane Feist, 52, died at his home in California. Services were held Saturday, May 30, 1987, 11:00 a.m., at the Lynner Funeral Home Chapel, Clarkfield, Minnesota, with Pastor William Klavetter officiating. Final Resting Place is the Hazel Run Lutheran Cemetery, Hazel Run, Minnesota, with Military Rites by the Amerian Legion Post No. 559, Hazel Run, Minnesota. He was born at Clarkfield December 15, 1934, to William H. Feist and the late Tillie Lee Feist. He was confirmed at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church and attended schools at Hazel Run, graduating from Clarkfield in 1952. He entered the U. S. Air Force on February 1, 1955, and served until December 10, 1958. He worked for the J.H. Lynner Co. and for Dotseth Cabinet Co. in Clarkfield. From Clarkfield he went to Seattle, Washington, and worked for a large carpet company and worked part time after retirement in Blake, California. He is survived by father William H. Feist; sisters Lucelle Feist of Willmar, Minnesota, Gretchen Dosteth of Anoka, Minnesota, Gloria Olson of Clarkfield and Darlene Christopherson of Minneapolis, Minnesota; brothers Billy Feist of St. Cloud, Minnesota, and James of Omaha, Nebraska; plus many nieces and nephews.
