George Orlean Orres was born to parents Oliver and Mary (Severts) Orres on December 25, 1905, at the farm home near Clarkfield where he farmed most of his life. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a member of Clarkfield Lutheran Church. He passed away on Friday, November 8, 1974, at the Clarkfield Hospital after a lingering illness. He had reached the age of 68 years. Preceding him in death were his parents. He is survived by three sisters: Berenice and Inez (Mrs. Clarence Berg) of Clarkfield, and Evelyn (Mrs. Dale Allison) of Omaha, Nebraska; two brothers: Lawrence of Clarkfield, and Raymond of Edgerton, Minnesota; four nieces and two nephews.
