George was a very active member of the Hazel Run Lutheran Church serving in various capacities. He taught Sunday School and was a very loyal and competent superintendent of the Sunday School for over a quarter of a century. June 12, 1912, he was united in marriage to Ida Jertson, who is deceased. Four children born to this union and two foster children raised by the Greseths were: Edna (Mrs. Ray McCormick) of Marysville, California, Ira, deceased, Grant Greseth, Hanley Falls, Minnesota, Violette (Mrs. Ray Moraine) Bloomington, Minnesota; foster children: Audrey (Mrs. Raymond Ohlson) Hazel Run, Minnesota, and Charles Anderson, Puyallup, Washington. George Greseth married Jennie Halvorson Listul, December 26, 1951, at Hazel Run, Minnesota. This past December a family gathering helped them observe twenty years of a very fulfilling and happy married life. George is also survived by three brothers: Einer of Seattle, Washington, Theodore of Dawson, Minnesota, and Oliver of Montevideo, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gunder and Anna (Bujgan) Greseth; his first wife Ida; a son, Ira; son-in-law, Walter Winge; brothers: Gust, Peter and Albert; and sisters: Martha Sande and Annie Johnson.
