Genevieve Reese was born March 9, 1897, in Minnesota to parents James and Bertha (Hanson) Seim. On June 8, 1927, she married John Reese and they had five children. They farmed southwest of Clarkfield, Minnesota. Mrs. Reese passed away October 15, 1981, at the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota. She is survived by her husband, John; daughters: Mrs. Mae (Ing) Alness, Mrs. Berdella (Wesley) Brolin, and Mrs. Norma (Milo) Lindquist; grandchildren: Cindy, Mark and Jon Alness, Mary Jauss, Carol Soine, Barbara and Wade Brolin, Lisa Anderson, Sandra and Paul Lindquist and John O'Connor; sister, Ella Finnes; and brother, Chester Seim. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a daughter.
