Geneva Nelson, 84, died Sunday, October 26, 1986, at Luther Haven in Montevideo, Minnesota. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 1986, at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Boyd, Minnesota, with the Rev. Jeff Swanson officiating. Final Resting Place is the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Swanson was the soloist and Minnie Hermanson, the organist. Casket Bearers were Jennings Agre, Maurice Norman, David Helgeson, Gerald Fremo, Clarence Quammen and Dennis Sundlee. She was born February 6, 1902, in Lisbon Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to Elvin and Belinda (Evgen) Kaupang. She was baptized and confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Boyd. Geneva married Joseph Nelson at Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is survived by one sister, Mamie Enevoldsen of Montevideo, nieces and nephews.
