Frederick L. "Fred" Jensen (February 10, 1920 ~ February 4, 2010) Frederick Leslie Jensen was born February 10, 1920, in Iowa to parents George and Clara (Thompson) Jensen. He was one of seven children. The Jensen family moved to a farm east of Clarkfield, Minnesota, in 1940. Here Fred lived with his family until moving into Clarkfield. Frederick had been disabled since the age of two years, when he became ill with polio and meningitis. He has been a resident at the Clarkfield Care Center for the past 24 years. Fred passed away at the Care Center on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 25 days. He is survived by two sisters, Esther (Curtis) Hanson of Montevideo, Minnesota, Erma Olson of Everett, Washington; one brother Alfred (Donna) Jensen of International Falls, Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Thelma Kluckman and brothers Fayette and Virgil Jensen. Blessed be his memory. In Loving Memory of Frederick L.
