Almighty God, our Heavenly Father called Mr. FRED G. KOEPP out of this vale of tears to His eternal home from the Clarkfield Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, on Monday, August 1, 1983. Fred was born on May 11, 1906, to George F. and Ida (Heintze) Koepp in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, on the farm where he lived out his life. He was baptized and later confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Tyro Township. On September 26, 1937, Fred and Caroline Zahn were married at Trinity Lutheran Church, Walter Township, near Bellingham, Minnesota. A daughter and a son were born of this marriage. Besides his farming, Fred, served as a trustee of Zion Lutheran Church. Music also played an important part of his life. Fred was preceeded in death by his parents as well as by two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Caroline; daughter LeAnn Schuerman of Maple Grove, Minnesota; son Maynerd, of Marshall, Minnesota; four grandchildren; and one sister, Bertha Larson, of Bayport, Minnesota.
