Frank John Friberg was born on October 11, 1881, to John and Saraline (Nelson) Friberg in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, parents of eleven. On February 26, 1919, he was united in marriage to Clara Nelson. This union was blessed with two sons, Elroy and Virgil, both of Clarkfield. He was engaged in farming in Tyro Township until his retirement in 1950, when the family moved to Clarkfield where he lived until his death. He passed away Friday, December 22, 1967, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, after a few days illness, having reached the age of 86 years. Preceding him in death were his wife, Clara; his parents; three sisters: Caraline (Mrs. Olaf Anderson), Hulda and Minnie; six brothers: Charles, Theodore, Swen, Emil, Sydney and Albertine. He is survived by his two sons: Elroy and his wife, Leora, and Virgil; one granddaughter, Claire, all of the Clarkfield vicinity; and a brother, Otto of Minneapolis. IN MEMORY OF FRANK J.
