Frances Johnson was born November 4, 1896, in Red Wing, Minnesota, to P.A. and Christina (Carlson) Johnson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church but has been a member of the Methodist Church for nearly 50 years and an active member of the Ladies Aid of that church. Frances and the late John Falkum were united in marriage November 26, 1918, and to this union were born four children: Donald and Floyd, both of Minneapolis, Leonard of Boyd, Minnesota, and Mrs. Violet Davis of Boston, Massachussetts. Other survivors include seven grandchildren; four sisters: Mrs. Gladys Pratt and Miss Agnes Johnson, both of Boyd, Mrs. Myrtle Becktel of Montevideo, Minnesota, and Mrs. Ida Vane of Hopkins, Minnesota; one brother, Raymond Johnson of Clarkfield; also many nieces and nephews. Frances resided with her son Leonard in Boyd until recently. She passed away September 30, 1973, at the Clarkfield Hospital at the age of 76 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1964, her parents and two sisters. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
