Obituary

Ewald Albert Priebe was born March 8, 1903, to Ida (Koepp) and Gustav Priebe in Tyro Township. He was married to Mae Olson on November 28, 1928 in Montevideo, Minnesota. To this union was born one son, Ordean. Ewald farmed in Tyro Township and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ewald, a life long resident of the Boyd, Minnesota area, died at the Johnson Memorial Hospital of Dawson, Minnesota, on Sunday, January 21, 1990, at the age of 86. He had been ill for about six weeks before his death. Ewald is survived by his brother, Adolph and wife Helen Priebe of Mora, Minnesota; one niece, Mrs. Robert (Judy Priebe) Kuchenbaker and family of Princeton, Minnesota; one nephew, Charles Priebe of Brook Park, Minnesota; and also nieces and nephews, Milo and Rosalind Olson and family of Dawson, Mrs. Lloyd (Pearl Olson) Olson and family of Dawson and Gene and Anita Olson and family of Coon Rapids, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mae; one son, Ordean; one sister, Minnie Loose; and one brother Arnold.
