Evelyn G. Swanson of Granite Falls, Minnesota, died on Thursday, January 15, 2009, at the age of 99 years. Evelyn was born to Robert and Christina (Lundstrom) Swanson on May 22, 1910, on a farm south of Clarkfield. After her father died, she (Evie), Christina, Roy and Gordy moved to Clarkfield. She later moved to Hanley Falls, then to Texas where Roy was living. Evie moved back to Granite Falls where she lived for 17 years until she fell and broke her hip in 2001. She has lived with her cousin, Jeanette (and Don) Enstad. Evie was preceded in death by her father, mother, Roy, Gordy and infant twin brother.
