Eveline Amanda (Reinertsen) Lund was born on September 7, 1907, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, to parents Jens B. and Christine Amalia (Hinderlie) Reinertsen. She passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 1999, at the Mt. Olivet Careview Home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 92 years and 3 months. Eveline was a former resident of St. Peter, Minnesota, and Pine River, Minnesota, before relocating to Minneapolis in 1987. Mrs. Lund was a graduate of St. Olaf College receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1933. Mrs. Lund was employed at the State Mental Hospital in St. Peter prior to retiring in 1973. A lifelong devout Lutheran, she was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Eveline Lund is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Wilhelm C. A. Lund; five devoted children: Carol Lund of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Christine Oilman of Mount Horeb, Wisconsin, Luther Lund of Seattle, Washington, Camilla Rivard of Hertford, North Carolina, and Samuel Lund of Marlton, New Jersey; two sisters: Inga Johnson of Billings, Montana, and Camilla Jensen of Clifton, Texas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers and sisters.
