Ethel L. (Wilson) Lynne September 24, 1933 ~ December 19, 2014 Ethel Lorraine (Wilson) Lynne passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014, at the Granite Falls Hospital at the age of 81. Ethel was born on September 24, 1933, to Earl and Letha (Risk) Wilson of Hazel Run, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church. She attended school in both Hazel Run and Clarkfield, which she graduated from in 1951. Ethel and Snerd (Arden) Lynne were united in marriage on August 31, 1952. They welcomed daughter Paula and son Ross into their family and made their home in Clarkfield. Ethel was an active member of Clarkfield Lutheran Church and enjoyed participating in church events. She loved her children and grandchildren and always had delicious cookies waiting for them when they stopped by. She loved baking, flower gardening and reading. Ethel was very kind, compassionate and humble and it was very easy to see that quality in her without her saying a word. She worked at the Red and White grocery store, Clarks Market and the Clarkfield Care Center. She would not and did not let the fact that she suffered from rheumatoid arthritis for over 50 years stop or even slow her down from what she was determined to do. She was strong and resilent and was a tremendous role model for her family to follow. Ethel is survived by her husband Snerd, daughter Paula (Stan) Berg, son Ross (Teresa) Lynne, grandchildren: Tom Berg, Dan (Kristin) Berg, Jon (Tracy) Berg, Megan Lynne, Matt Lynne; great grandchildren: McKenna Berg, Morgan Berg , Mayson Berg and Teagan Berg; brother Galen (Margaret) Wilson, sisters-in-law: Mary (John) Solien, Blanche Simpson, Lila Lynne, Stan (Shirley) Lynne, Elizabeth Nordwick and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Snerds parents, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Blessed be her memory. In Loving Memory of Ethel L.
