Esther Ellenora Olson Anderson was born April 6, 1905, to Olaf and Hannah (Nelson) Olson at Dawson, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. On February 14, 1925, she was united in marriage to Gifford Anderson. To this union one daughter, Phyllis (Mrs. Maurice Oakland) was born. After the death of her husband in February, 1973, she moved from Montevideo, Minnesota, to Clarkfield, Minnesota, where she resided at Valhalla Apartments. She passed away March 27, 1981, at the Clarkfield Care Center where she had been a resident for the past four months. She leaves to mourn her passing her daughter, Phyllis; son-in-law Maurice of Clarkfield; one sister, Clara Anderson of Montevideo; one brother, Hjaimer Olson of Dawson, Minnesota; two granddaughters, Dian (Mrs. Jerry) Holien of Maynard, Minnesota, and Darlys, (Mrs. Keith) Listul of Clarkfield; three great-grandchildren: Jeremy, Eric and Melissa Holien; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Mrs. Albin (Olga) Swanson; three brothers: Roy, Adolph and Kenneth; one great grandchild, Kevin Listul. Blessed be her memory!
