Ervin L. Ree was born February 20, 1907, in Minnesota to parents Nels and Guri (Stolsmark) Ree. He lived all his life in the Hanley Falls, Minnesota community. He married Thelma Tollefson on October 7, 1972, at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church, Hanley Falls, of which he was a member and served on the cemetery board. He passed away at the University Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota, on November 10, 1979, of a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Thelma, step-children: Truman of Runge, Texas, Dennis of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Wayne of Minneapolis, Minnesota and Diane of LeSueur, Minnesota; 14 step-grandchildren; brothers: Art of Montevideo, Minnesota, Newell of Granite Falls, Minnesota, Waldo of Wayzata, Minnesota; sisters: Blenda Miller of Cottonwood, Minnesota, Gladys Heiman of Minneapolis, Minnesota; nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
