IN MEMORY OF ERVIN A. NELSON Mr. Nelson was born June 19, 1889, in Lisbon Township of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to parents Anfin and Julia (Otteson) Nelson. In 1913 he married Dora Freyer. Three children were born to them: Allen Dale, Earl LeRoy and Harriet Elaine. They lived on a farm east of Boyd until 1942 when they moved to Boyd. Survivors include his wife, Dora, his daughter Harriet and her husband Reuben, grandson, David, and sisters, Alpha Eckhardt and Cora Hein. He passed away November 14, 1973, at the Clarkfield Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 84 years.
