Obituary

Ernest G. Neuman was born March 3, 1906, near Wood Lake, Minnesota, to Adolph and Anna (Linde) Neuman. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church and he remained a loyal member all of his life. On October 15, 1943, he was united in marriage to Viola Thompson at Cottonwood, Minnesota, by Pastor Madland. Three children were born to this union, one daughter and two sons. During most of his married life, he lived on a farm near Cottonwood, Minnesota. Mr. Neuman passed away at the Weiner Memorial Hospital in Marshall, Minnesota, at the age of 66 years. Death was due to injuries received in a two-car accident on October 31, 1972. He is survived by the following: his wife, Viola; two sons: Larry and Leroy, both of Cottonwood; one daughter, Sharon (Mrs. Larry Frayseth) of Redwood Falls, Minnesota; six grandchildren; one brother, Clarence of Cottonwood; five sisters: Dora (Mrs. Henry Milbradt), Wood Lake, Mrs. Minnie Sorenson of Stanhope, Iowa, Elsie (Mrs. Bennie Warn), Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Viola (Mrs. Harold Scheer) and Violet (Mrs. George Scheer) both of Wood Lake; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
