June 4, 1908 – January 11, 1971
Enid Floye Belle Anderson was born at Clarkfield, Minnesota, on June 4, 1908, to Peter and Belle (Monson) Anderson. She was baptized at the Clarkfield Lutheran Church on June 22, 1908, and confirmed at the same church by Rev. Storaasli in 1923. She was graduated from the Clarkfield High School in 1926 and from the St. Cloud Teachers's College in 1928. She received a Master's degree in School Administration at the St. Cloud Teachers' College. She taught at the following elementary schools: Echo, Cambridge, Summit, South Dakota, Morris, principal at Newport Elementary, District 833 from 1952 to 1961, and Woodbury Elementary from 1961 to 1971. She was a member of the Executive Board of Minnesota Elementary Principals for 18 years. She was also associated with the Red Cross as director of Arts and Crafts at the Naval Hospital in Hawaii for four years. She passed away on January 11, 1971, at the Mounds Park Hospital at the age of 62 years. She is survived by her sisters: Henriette (Mrs. James E. Paulsen) of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and Ione (Mrs. Tom Pasqua) of Whittier, California; and one brother, Harold Anderson of Wheaton, Minnesota. Preceding her in death were her parents, and sisters and brothers: Annette, Pearl (Mrs. Conrad Haugen), Prudence (Mrs. Donald Monson), Ben, Henry, Palmer and Earle. She is also survived by a host of other relatives, co-workers and friends. IN MEMORY OF Enid F.
