Emma Pauline Iverson, the daughter of Soren and Karie (Paulson) Sorenson was born May 29, 1892, in Day County, Roslyn, South Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith by Rev. L. Hammer, pastor of Fron Lutheran Church near Roslyn, South Dakota. On July 14, 1915, she was married at Roslyn to Olaf Iverson of Clarkfield, Minnesota, by Rev. L.E. Hammer at Fron Lutheran Church. To this union two children were born: Ethel (Mrs. Laurence Miller) of Dawson, Minnesota, and Oliver of Boyd, Minnesota. Mrs. Iverson passed away December 11, 1978, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, at the age of 86 years. She leaves her children, a daughter-in-law, Irene Iverson; and a son-in-law, Lawrence Miller; grandson, Ordell Akre of Clarkfield; and four great grandchildren: Brian, Vicky, Tiffany and Tammy Akre; one great great grandchild, Jason Akre; one sister, Mrs. Inga Hicks of Minneapolis; and a host of neces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olaf; her parents; two brothers: Albert and Ole Soren; three sisters: Lena, Selma and Alice. IN MEMORY OF MRS. EMMA P.
