Emily Regna Moen was born on January 19, 1881, to Jacob and Randi (Olson) Agre of the Boyd community. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a lifelong member of the Baxter ladies aid. She was united in marriage to Olaf Moen of Baxter Township in 1902. They farmed in the Baxter community until they retired and moved to Dawson, Minnesota. After Olaf's death in 1946, she moved to Boyd where she resided until the last seven years which she spent at the Clarkfield Nursing Home. Mrs. Moen passed away Saturday morning, September 21, 1968, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, at the age of 87 years. She is survived by five sons and two daughters: Morris and Orville of Boyd, Reuben of Dawson, Palmer of Montevideo, Clarence of St. Cloud, Wanda (Mrs. William Fiest) of St. Cloud, Minerva (Mrs. Lloyd Kise) of Clarkfield. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; two sisters: Olava (Mrs. Oscar Olson) of Dawson and Mrs. Gena Stenson of Clarkfield; three brothers: Johnny of California, Richard of Dawson and Bennie of Montevideo. Preceding her in death were her husband, Olaf, and parents, one daughter, Pearl, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and three brothers, Ole, Joseph and Martin Agre. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
