Elmer Gustav Johnson was born January 15, 1881, in Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota, the son of Isaac and Maria (Norgaard) Johnson. He was married to Clara Gigstad. Mr. Johnson died July 25, 1950, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 69 years. Survivors include his wife, Clara, and his daughter, Edna (Mrs. Eldon Powell).
