Elmer Pershing Berre passed away at his home at Clarkfield, Minnesota, on February 7, 1975. Elmer was born December 25, 1916, in Normania Township of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to Evend and Sarah (Christofferson) Berre. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Lucas Lutheran Church. He lived in Normania Township until February 1942 when he entered the United States Army which he served until August 1946. Elmer is survived by two children; two brothers: Henry of San Francisco, California, and Kenneth of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and one sister Vivian of Clarkfield; two nephews and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Sylvia. IN MEMORY OF ELMER P.
