Ellen Theresia Albin passed away December 2, 1982, at the Clarkfield Hospital, Clarkfield, Minnesota, at the age of 89 years. She was born August 3, 1893, in Elmo, Minnesota, the daughter of Andrew and Anna Mathilda (Carlson) Olson. She was baptized and confirmed at the First Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. Ellen was united in marriage to Carl August Albin February 27, 1918. They farmed in the Hanley Falls, Minnesota area. In June of 1958 they moved to Clarkfield. Carl passed away October 1, 1958. At the time of her death she was a resident of the Clarkfield Care Center. She was survived by two sons, Kerman of Granite Falls, Minnesota and Earling of Hanley Falls, Minnesota; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two sisters, Elsie LaFavor of South St. Paul, Minnesota, and Myrtle (Mrs. Glenn) Hall of Phoenix, Arizona; one brother, Reynold Hendrickson of Clarkfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, four sons, her parents, five brothers and one sister. IN MEMORY OF ELLEN T.
