Ellen Oftedahl was born December 8, 1869, in Norway, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sven Nesse. She was united in marriage to Einar Oftedahl. Mrs. Oftedahl passed away Monday evening, October 18, 1966, at the Granite Falls Manor, Granite Falls, Minnesota, where she had resided the past three years. She was 96 years of age. Among her survivors are her children: Helma (Mrs. Roy Olson) and Edwin Oftedahl of Hanley Falls, Minnesota, and Mrs. Jim Brennan of Chicago, Illinois; and grandchildren: Gene and Glenn Oftedahl of the local area.
