Eli Ludwig Kise passed away at the Renville Old Peoples Home, Thursday, April 5, 1956, at the age of 78 years, ten months, and 26 days. He was born May 10, 1877, in Iowa and came to Minnesota when just one year old, with his parents, Johannes and Kristina (Vien). He was confirmed by Rev. Thorstenson and lived in Normania Township until about four years ago when he entered the Renville Old Peoples Home. Eli found great faith in Rev. Milo Lee, who conducted the services there. Good Friday, he went to communion and attended his services whenever able. He is survived by two brothers and a sister: Alex of Cottonwood, Minnesota, Norman of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and Clara (Mrs. Harvey Ralstad) of Hazel Run, Minnesota; three nephews: Douglas and Palmer Kise of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, James Ralstad of Los Angeles, California; two nieces: Mrs. Arnold Johnson of Minneapolis, and Mrs. Don Hanson of Los Angeles. His parents, four brothers, and two sisters preceded him in death. Blessed be his memory. IN MEMORY OF ELI L.
