Eleanor M. Bruflat, 79, of Clarkfield, Minnesota, and formerly of Granite Falls, Minnesota, died Saturday, May 11, 1985. Services were held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 15, 1985, at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Granite Falls with Father Bill Sprigler officiating. Organist at the funeral was Judy Gertz with vocal music by Marge Martin. Casket Bearers were Bill Upton of Granite Falls and grandsons Rod, Tim and Joe Bruflat and Scott and Don Winson all of Clarkfield. Final Resting Place is the Hillcrest Cemetery of Granite Falls. She was born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, on April 27, 1906, to Jacob and Mary (Petska) Schneider. She married William Bruflat in Chippewa Falls and spent most of her married life in Granite Falls. She was employed for many years at Fromm Drug and was active in Degree of Honor Lodge, Granite Falls American Legion Auxiliary No. 69 and served as chairperson of the Granite Falls Manor Coffee Bar. She also was an avid gardener. She is survived by son Bill and daughter-in-law Donna of Clarkfield; daughter Burdonna Winson of Shakopee, Minnesota; seven grandchildren, Rod, Tim and Joe Bruflat, Scott and Don Winson of Clarkfield, Mike Winson of Shakopee, Minnesota, and Jill Adams of Caruthers, California; great grandchildren Eric, Justin and Jerod Winson, Todd, Kelly and Troy Bruflat; and sister Loretta Geisler of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
