Edward Walter Ziemann was born February 4, 1898, in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, on his farm south of Boyd, Minnesota. Edward was a son of Frank and Mary (Drosch) Ziemann. He was baptized on February 13, 1898, by Rev. Hillger and confirmed on March 31, 1912, at Zion Lutheran Church of Tyro Township by Rev. Luttmann. He passed away Friday, December 6, 1963, at the Clarkfield Community Hospital, at the age of 65 years. Mr. Ziemann is survived by his three sisters: Martha and Oileen, who resided at home with their brother, and Eartha (Mrs. Soren Stokke) who, with two nephews, Dennis and Kenneth, and a niece, Marlene Kjersten, all reside at Las Vegas, Nevada. Edward was a humble, patient and faithful member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Boyd, Minnesota.
