Edward J. Schubert passed away at his home in Granite Falls, Minnesota, Saturday morning, January 3, 1970, at the age of 76 years. He was laid to rest at the Brewster, Minnesota cemetery following the services at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Granite Falls, Wednesday morning, January 7, 1970. Edward was born April 18, 1893, in Illinois, to parents Vincent and Martha (Siechter) Schubert. Mr. Schubert farmed in this area and was well known here. His daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Marion) Rogge lives west of Clarkfield. Along with his wife, Helen and his daughter, Marion, he is survived by daughters: Miss Olive Schubert of Dennis, California, and Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Pritchard of Inglewood, California; and a son, Al Schubert of rural Canby, Minnesota.
