Edna Althea Greseth was born April 30, 1913, to George and Ida (Jertson) Greseth. She died at Fairview-Riverside Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Monday, November 2, 1992 at the age of 79. Edna was baptized at Hazel Run Lutheran Church, May 25, 1913, by Rev. John Jansen Salhus. She was confirmed at Hazel Run Lutheran Church by Rev. Anders Haugland on Sunday, June 12, 1927. She married Walter S. Winge at a garden wedding on the family farm near Hazel Run. They had three children: Diane, Marlene and Ronald. After Walter's death, Edna married Ray McCormick. Edna lived in Fairfax, Clarkfield and Madison, Minnesota, Northern California and she made her last home in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Edna was always active with her children and family. She enjoyed playing word games with relatives and friends. Survivors are: daughter, Diane Mauland and her husband Arvid of Minneapolis, Minnesota; daughter, Marlene Swanson and husband Neil J. of Salinas, California; and daughter-in-law Karen M. Winge of Burnsville, Minnesota; Grandchildren: Wade Mauland and wife Tami, Jill Johnson and husband Michael, Kirsten Mauland and Valerie Mauland, Robin Rucker and husband Walt, Sheila Swanson, Neil Swanson Jr., Paul Swanson and wife Holly, Stacie and Kimberly Winge; and Great-Grandchildren: Marcus, Krista and Valerie Johnson and Laura and Wendy Rucker; stepdaughters: Carol Biondi and Linda Neuuman; brother, Grant Greseth; sister Violet Moraine; foster sister, Audrey Ohlson; foster brother, Charles Anderson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by husbands, Walter and Ray; parents, George and Ida Greseth; brother, Ira Greseth; son, Ronald L. Winge; and grandson, Dirk Mauland.
