Edna A. Lund was born August 23, 1909, at Boyd, Minnesota, to parents Edward and Alice (Nelson) Johnson. She was baptized September 12, 1909, at Boyd and confirmed April of 1923 at Zimmerman, Minnesota. Edna attended school through the 8th grade at Zimmerman. Edna married Einard Lund on November 19, 1932. They were the parents of four children: Ellroy, Alden, Ronald, and LaVonne. She was a homemaker and loved her garden and especially loved making pies. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting and the love of her family. Edna and Einard farmed west of Clarkfield, Minnesota, where she remained until she moved to Canby, Minnesota, in 1994. She was a member of Clarkfield Lutheran Church and was involved with the church circles. Edna passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at Senior Haven in Canby at the age of 95 years, 10 months, and 12 days. She is survived by her children: Ellroy (and Thora) Lund of River Falls, Wisconsin, Alden (and Barbara) Lund of Granite Falls, Minnesota, Ronald (and Marietta) Lund of Foley, Minnesota, and LaVonne (and Dale) Anhalt of Canby, Minnesota. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sister Lila Anderson; and brother Milburn Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Lester and Elmer; and husband Einard. Blessed be her memory.
