Obituary

Edith Lillian Willander, 75, formerly of Minneapolis, Minnesota, died on December 11, 1987, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, after a lengthy illness. Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 11, 1987, from the Clarkfield Assembly of God Church with Pastor Lloyd Jacobson and Pastor Jay Norman officiating. Organist was Mrs. Marvin Hildahl with vocal solo by Mrs. Arnold Johnson. Casket Bearers were Melvin Falkum, Arnold Johnson, Ray Schaikoski, Duane Stokke, Denton and William Willander. Final Resting Place is the Clarkfield City Cemetery, Clarkfield, Minnesota. She was born in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, on April 3, 1912, to Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Willander. She became a co-worker with Rev. Helen Jepson for many years in Clarkfield and in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she was a faithful member of Bethel Temple. She also worked many years at Northland Electrical Company in Minneapolis and several years at the Minneapolis Airport. She will be missed by her many relatives and acquaintances who remember her for her willingness to help others and also for her sincere Christian faith. She is survived by her sisters, Ruth of Clarkfield and Jenette of Edmonds, Washington; brothers, Orin and Jesse of Clarkfield and Elsmore of Sherman, Texas and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and five sisters. Arrangements by Lynner Funeral Home Since 1891 Clarkfield Minnesota
