Eddie Alvin Lindquist was born November 30, 1917, to parents Gust and Mathilda (Flink) Lindquist in Tyro Township of Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota. In 1918 he moved with his parents and brothers and sisters to Braham, Minnesota, where his parents farmed until 1925 when he returned to the Clarkfield community where he resided for sometime with Axel and Fred Flink. At this time he attended the Clarkfield School. Later he joined his uncle Fred Flink in farming operations. In 1947 he moved to Minneapolis where he has been employed until the time of his death. Following a short illness he passed away September 25, 1974, at General Hospital in Minneapolis, at the age of 56 years. He leaves to mourn two brothers: Arthur and Harry, both of Minneapolis; and two sisters: Jennie (Mrs. Leonard Benson) and Esther (Mrs. Arthur Bergee) both of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Wallace. He will be sadly missed by all. IN MEMORY OF EDDIE A.
