Obituary

Earl Llewellyn Wilson was born May 26, 1905, to parents, Gulick C. Wilson and Nelia (Halvorson) Wilson at Hazel Run, Minnesota. He was baptized in 1905 by Rev. J.O. Salhus and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Earl grew to manhood on his parents' farm near Hazel Run and spent most of his life farming in this vicinity. On February 11, 1933, he was united in marriage to Letha Risk at Echo, Minnesota. To this union two children were born, Ethel and Galen. He passed away on March 2, 1968, at the age of 62 years, at the Duluth Hospital, while visiting his son, Mr. and Mrs. Galen Wilson. Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, Addie, and one brother, Chester. He is survived by his widow, Letha, of Granite Falls; daughter, Mrs. Arden Lynne, Jr., of Clarkfield; son, Galen, of Duluth, Minnesota; four grandchildren: Paula and Ross Lynne, Chris and John Wilson; one brother, Melvin of Granite Falls; and many close friends as he was very will known in the community.
