Earl Allen Isaacs was born February 13, 1939, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, the son of Ernest and Lurene (Hawkinson) Isaacs. He was baptized by Rev. J.E.H. Akre at Clarkfield Lutheran Church. In 1953, the family moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where it has since resided. Earl was confirmed by Rev. Knutsvig in Zion Lutheran Church of Minneapolis. His health had been failing for the past two years and he passed away of a heart attack at the University Hospital, December 7, 1972, at the age of 33 years. His father passed away March 25, 1970. He is survived by his mother and two brothers, David at home and Erode of Dayton, Ohio.
