DuWayne Leo Lehmann was born to Bernice (Fritz) and Rueben Lehmann on September 9, 1947, at Dawson, Minnesota. He was baptized by Rev. Louis Rosin and confirmed in 1961 by Rev. Albert C. Esch, at Zion Lutheran Church. DuWayne attended School District #25 in Maxwell Township. DuWayne married Ilene Harberts on August 19, 1972. This marriage was blessed with three daughters: Darla, Darcy and Dana. DuWayne enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, fishing, and watching television. He also enjoyed bowling and playing cards. He loved to watch eagles. DuWayne passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2000, at the Johnson Memorial Hospital, Dawson, Minnesota, at the age of 53 years and 13 days. He is survived by his wife, Ilene; his daughters: Darla of Bronx, New York, Darcy and fiance Kevin Nilson of Ghent, Minnesota, and Dana of Boyd, Minnesota; and two grandchildren: Trystin and Keeghan Nilson; and much extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rueben in 1952 and Bernice in 1994; and his brother, Derlyn in 1966. Blessed be his memory.
