Doris Ann (Listul) Sandlln, 64, passed away at the Caro, Michigan Hospital on Tuesday, October 17, 1989. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 1989, at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church, Hazel Run, Minnesota, with Pastor Jim McCalmant officiating. Organist was Mrs. Arlyss Jacobson with vocal soloist Tom Listul. Burial was in her parents plot at the Hazel Run Lutheran Cemetery, Hazel Run, Minnesota. Serving as pallbearers were Randy Dyrdahl, David and George Greseth, Dale Gustafson and Keith and Tom Listul. The family prefers memorials go to the American Heart Association. Doris Ann (Listul) Sandlin was born in Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, to Martin and Jennie Listul on October 25, 1924. She was baptized and confirmed at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church of Hazel Run. She graduated from Clarkfield High School and shortly after moved to Detroit, Michigan, where she was a homemaker, raising three daughters. Recently she resided in Mesa, Arizona. Doris is survived by her three daughters, Cheryl Shores of Caro, Michigan, Susan Kuppe of Van Nuys, California, and Karyn Bodway of Walnut Creek, California; two sons-in-law, Jon Shores and Phil Bodway; three grandchildren, Katie, Douglas and Lauren Shores; two sisters, Elvina Gustafson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Inez Greseth of Hazel Run; and numerous other relatives.
