Dora Elise Lukken was born April 10, 1895, at Boyd, Minnesota, to Olaf and Mathilda (Amundson) Erickson. She was baptized and confirmed at the Boyd Trinity Lutheran Church and attended school in the Boyd community. On June 11, 1919, she was united in marriage to Sverre Lukken. To this union, one child was born, Margaret Jean, who passed away at the birth of her second child. Mrs. Lukken passed away at her home in Ten Mile Lake Township, Lac qui Parle County, Minnesota, early Friday morning October 12, 1962. She had been ailing for many years, but had been up and about. She reached the age of 67 years. Surviving are her husband, Sverre, and one granddaughter, Eva (Mrs. Bob Delorme) of Los Angeles, California; four sisters: Mrs. Florence Holum of Seattle, Washington, Mrs. Alma Hanson of Clarkfield, Mrs. Jenny Tennefos of Fargo, North Dakota, and Mrs. Knute Angrimson of Minneapolis. Alice, an infant sister, and one brother preceded her in death, as well as her parents. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
