(Anderson) Dotseth
January 11, 1905 – December 4, 1968
Dora Lillian Anderson Dotseth, the second daughter of Albert and Nellie (Rudell) Anderson, was born in Tyro Township, Yellow Medicine County, Minnesota, on January 11, 1905. She passed away at the Granite Falls Hospital on December 4, 1968, at the age of 63 years. Dora Lillian was baptized on January 22, 1905, by Pastor Shaleen of the Fridhem Evangelical Lutheran Church and was confirmed at Fridhem on May 26, 1918, by Pastor Valberg. On January 26, 1927, Dora Anderson and Clifford J. Dotseth were united in marriage by Rev. O.M.O. Wee. To this union three children were born: Clifford, Jr., Rachel and Ervin. Mrs. Dotseth was a lifelong member of Augustana Lutheran Church and faithfully served in the Sunday School, ALCW and other church activities. Death removed from the Anderson home in 1918 Dora's mother and two sisters, Alpha and Helen. Her father passed away in 1959 and her step-mother, Jennie Willander Anderson, in 1967. An older sister, Alice (Mrs. Heimer Johnson) passed away in 1966. Surviving members of the family are her husband, Clifford, of Clarkfield; two sons, Clifford, Jr. of Palatine, Illinois, and Ervin of Rake, Iowa; a daughter, Rachel (Mrs. Harland Hagan) of Hanley Falls; two daughters-in-law; one son-in-law; mother-in-law; and eight grandchildren. She is survived by three sisters: Myrtle (Mrs. Hilmer Appelwick) of Clarkfield, Albertha (Mrs. Forest Johnson) of Clarkfield, and Anna (Mrs. Elmer Anderson) of Cottonwood. Also surviving are two brothers, Arthur and Harry of Boyd, Minnesota; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in- law. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
