Donald Oscar Holum, the son of Alton and Lorraine (Erickson) Holum, was born February 9, 1959, at Clarkfield. He was baptized April 20, 1959, at Riverside Lutheran Church, Dawson, Minnesota, by Rev. Smestad. Donald passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, July 11, 1968, at the age of 9 years. Death was the result of injuries sustained July 10th when his bicycle collided with a pickup truck in St. Paul. He is survived by his parents, Alton and Lorraine formerly of Boyd, Minnesota; five brothers: David, Raymond, Wayne, Edward and John; one sister, Galene; grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Oscar Erickson of Holmes, Iowa, and Mrs. Henry Holum of Boyd; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
