Donald R. Gabrielson (October 29, 1937 ~ February 26, 2011) Donald R. Gabrielson was born in rural Milan, Minnesota, on October 29, 1937, to parents Amy (Norby) and Merriam Gabrielson. He was baptized and confirmed at Big Bend Lutheran Church. Don married Virginia Waters at the United Methodist Church in Montevideo, Minnesota. He was active in the business community in Montevideo for many years. He owned and operated the refuse service for a number of years. He was an active hunter and fisherman and enjoyed traveling. In his retirement he was active in farming. Don passed away at the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital on February 26, 2011, at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 28 days. He is survived by his son, Richard and Mary Pat of Apple Valley, Minnesota; daughters: Linda (Shawn) Weinand of Minnetonka, Minnesota, and Jennifer Gabrielson of Mounds View, Minnesota. He is also survived by grandchildren: Alexandra and John Gabrielson, Laura and Donnie Potter, Sara Dye, Dan Dye and Ross Baumgard; brothers: Russell (Delores) Gabrielson of Hoffman, Minnesota, and David (Janet) Gabrielson of Clarkfield, Minnesota; sister-in-law Pearl Gabrielson; and sister Judy (Bob) Thompson of Milan. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Maurice and one infant brother. In Loving Memory of Donald R.
