IN MEMORY OF MR. DON FERGUSON Born August 4, 1897, in Kirkland, Indiana to parents William and Minnie (Garrison) Ferguson. He served in the Army during World War I and was a charter member of the Clarkfield American Legion Post. On October 6, 1930, he was united in marriage to Marie Wagoner. To this union three sons and two daughters were born. He passed away Tuesday, August 30, 1977, at the Veterans Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. Survivors include wife, Marie (Wagoner) Ferguson of Osakis, Minnesota; son, Lester (and Phyllis) Ferguson, Elk River, Minnesota; son, Walter (and Diane) Ferguson, St. Joseph, Missouri; daughter, Nellie (and David) Idso, Cottonwood, Minnesota; daughter, Donna (and Dale) McJunkin, Alexandria, Minnesota; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Forest of St. Paul, Minnesota; and two sisters: Mrs. Eva Siles and Mrs. Omar (Hazel) Svenmungson, both of Granite Falls, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by one son, Leroy; his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
