Delores M. Frederickson was born August 3, 1924, at Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of Albert and Gertrude (Laremore) Thompson. She was married to John R. Frederickson in 1942. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Madison, Minnesota. She was an active member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Boyd, the Ladies Aid and a Sunday School teacher up to the time of her illness. She passed away on September 18, 1971, at the Dawson Hospital at the age of 47 years following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her four children: Robert of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, Cheryl (Mrs. Dennis Christensen) of Montevideo, Minnesota, Richard of rural Montevideo, Minnesota, and Pamela at home; her father, Albert Thompson of Madison, Minnesota; a sister, Jeannie (Mrs. Virgil Powelson) of Marietta, Minnesota; one brother, Merlin of Clara City, Minnesota; three grandchildren: Michelle, Heidi and Rebecca Christensen; and several nieces and nephews.
