David Paul Johnsrud was born July 31, 1931, to Marten and Martha (Hveem) Johnsrud at Montevideo, Minnesota. He was baptized on August 16, 1931, by Rev. J.M. Mason and confirmed on July 14, 1945, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church of Baxter Township by Rev. K.S. Mikelson. On May 26, 1956, he was united in marriage to Marlys Moseng at Boyd, Minnesota, by Rev. Calvin Berg of Trinity Lutheran Church. David had a small saw sharpening business and did some carpenter work up until the time of his death. He passed away March 26, 1963, at the Clarkfield Hospital at the age of 31 years after a lingering illness. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Marlys; two small sons, Kenneth Jerome and Duane Allen; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Johnsrud; a sister, Alice (Mrs. Helge Goulson); three brothers: Reuben, Melvin and Thomas. He was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Jay. IN MEMORY OF DAVID P.
