Darlene LaVonne (Lundy) [Rasmussen] Feist was born February 19, 1939 at Clarkfield, Minnesota to parents John and Edith (Davidson) Lundy. She was baptized and confirmed at Israel Lutheran Church of Swede Prairie Township. Darlene married Loyd R. Rasmussen on August 25, 1956 at Israel Lutheran Church. This marriage was blessed with four children: Cynthia, Diane, Douglas and Susan. Loyd passed away on November 19, 1980. Darlene married Donald Feist of Clarkfield on August 27, 1982 at Clarkfield Lutheran Church. They made their home in Clarkfield where Darlene was a waitress at the local restaurant. Darlene enjoyed camping, fishing, garage sales, embroidering, traveling and collecting 'Tea Cup and Saucers'. She was a member of the Clarkfield Lutheran Church. She passed away at her home on Sunday, November 23, 1997 after a lingering illness of cancer. She was 58 years, 9 months, and 5 days. She is survived by her husband, Donald, of Clarkfield and her children: Cynthia (and Richard) Berg, Diane (and Daniel) Grant, Douglas and (Janine) Rasmussen, and Susan (and Daniel) Larson. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and stepchildren: Cindi Feist; Tamra (and Greg) Hinz, Jacqualyn (and Duane) Hegna, Terri (and Gary) Wolf, Trudy (and Donald) Altman, Tina Woods (and fiance Brad Knudson). Survivors also include brothers and sisters: Lauraine Soppeland, Lloyd (and Delaine) Lundy, Jaurold (and Avis) Lundy, Eugene (and Jean) Lundy, Virgil Lundy, John (and Gwen) Lundy, Lowell (and Pat) Lundy, and David (and Loretta) Lundy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd; parents; and grandchildren Sheena and Cameron Grant. Blessed be her memory.
