IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Daniel Leroy
Anderson
May 30, 1953 – August 12, 2003
"Imagine That" Daniel departed his earthly life on August 12, 2003, just as he lived it: a free spirit who zealously grasped every ounce of life from each second of every day. He is dearly remembered by his many close and trusted friends, true companions who were the foundation of his contentment and source of his happiness, as well as his family, in whose hearts he will always reside. Daniel was born on May 30, 1953, to Erling and Norma (Stina) Anderson at Fort Chaffey, Arkansas. He is survived by his wife of four years, Katheryn Anderson; his parents, Erling and Stina Anderson; his sister Sandra Ellingson; his brother-in-law Dennis Ellingson; niece Josselyn Ellingson; and nephew Chandler Ellingson. Dan graduated from Clarkfield High School, Clarkfield, Minnesota, in 1971 and went on to attend Vermillion Junior College. He then enlisted in the Army and served our country overseas in Germany. He completed his education at the University of Minnesota, earning a degree in Forestry. He was also the proud owner of his own company, Gulf Coast Posts & Poles, an organization that benefited from his extensive life knowledge, and his can do attitude that shall ever resound in one of his favorite sayings, "No Problem." Those who knew him will doubtlessly carry the fond memory of a man whose zest for life shone as he rode his beloved Harley Davidson. This enthusiasm for life also showed through in nearly every facet of Dan's being. He was fond of great outdoor adventures, deep-sea fishing, and scuba diving. He was also the proud owner of many exotic pets. It has been said of Dan that he has experienced more in his 50 years than have many who lived twice his age.
