Dale Edward Heath Sr. was born on January 16, 1932 at Redwood Falls, Minnesota, to parents Merton and Bertha (Stewig) Heath. He was baptized at the Methodist church in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. Dale graduated from high school and then entered the army. Dale served in the military from July 1951 to April 1955. He served in the Korean War. Dale married Margaret Lowery on January 9, 1960. To this union three children were born. Dale worked for the United Postal Service on delivery. He also worked as a barber. He was a member of the VFW. Dale enjoyed fishing, reading, and watching television and VCR tapes. He also loved cooking and baking. Dale passed away on Sunday, March 20, 1994, at his home in Clarkfield at the age of 62. He is survived by his mother Bertha Heath of Vahalla Apartments in Clarkfield; son Dale E. Heath Jr. also of Clarkfield; son Michael (wife Rose) and grandchildren Rhonda, Jay, and Mitch Heath of Ohio; daughter Charlene Heath and grandchildren Robert and Jonathan of Ohio. He is also survived by his sister Rose O'Keefe of Nebraska. Dale was preceded in death by his father Merton Heath and his grandparents.
