Cynthia Rae Zwack was born on November 25, 1957, at Clarkfield, Minnesota, to Roger and Coleen (McCoy) Olson. She was baptized and confirmed at Yellow Medicine Lutheran Church. She graduated from Granite Falls High School in 1975. Cindy attended the University of Minnesota at Crookston in the Parks and Recreation program and woked at Itasca State Park for one summer. She moved to Marshall and worked at the parks department, did waitress work and worked at P.P.G. On August 26, 1984, Cindy married Scott Zwack. She then attended Granite Falls Vo-Tech school and graduated with a degree in mechanical drafting. She and Scott moved to Glenwood, Minnesota, where she worked for Clyde Machines. Her last employment was at C&D Rollers in Glenwood. She loved the outdoors and her passion was reading. She passed away March 9, 2007, at Douglas County Hospital, Alexandria, Minnesota, at the age of 49 years. She is survived by her parents, Roger and Coleen Olson of Wood Lake, Minnesota; nieces and nephew: Becky (and Brian) Ruhl of Evansville, Minnesota, Christi (and fiance Jim Stueve) Olson of Alexandria, Chad (and friend Liz Laumer) of Willmar, Minnesota, and Chantel Olson of Wood Lake, two great nieces and one great nephew and aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her brother Gary in 1998 and her grandparents Jacob and Esther Olson and Orph and Era McCoy.
