Curtis Christianson was born January 29, 1943, in Minneota, Minnesota, to parents Clarence and Alice (Knutson) Christianson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He graduated from Clarkfield High School. Curt and Sally (Severson) were married on October 28, 1961, at the Hazel Run Lutheran Church, Hazel Run, Minnesota. They were the parents of Allen, Karla and Randy. They lived in Clarkfield, Minnesota, where Curtis worked for Rysdahl Construction for 29 years. He was currently working with his special friends at the DAC in Marshall, Minnesota, for 12 years. Curt passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday morning, February 25, 2003, at the Granite Falls Hospital, Granite Falls, Minnesota, at the age of 60 years and 27 days. He is survived by his wife Sally of Clarkfield and his children: Allen (and wife Julie) of McKinney, Texas and their children Alayna and Garrett, daughter Karla (and husband Geoff) Thiel of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, and their children Stephanie and Justin and son Randy (and wife Lisa) of Britt, Iowa, and children Brady and Carlee. He is also survived by his mother, Alice Christianson of Clarkfield; brother Earl (and Rita) Christianson of Granite Falls; mother-in-law Alice Anderson of Clarkfield; and brothers-in-law Curtis (and Winnie) Severson and Ralph (and Nona) Severson; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Clarence Christianson. Curt enjoyed building and refinishing furniture. He enjoyed helping his children with projects. He was a very giving generous man, who was also willing to help out, proving to be a wonderful role model for his children and grandchildren. He loved his family - wife, children and grandchildren - very much. He will be deeply missed.
