Cordelia Adeline Irene (Anderson) Klosterboer was born October 11, 1919 to parents Peder and Mina (Iverson) Anderson in Lisbon Township, Clarkfield, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at the Bergen Lutheran Church, where she has been a life member and active in the Ladies Aid. On March 4, 1945 she was united in marriage to John Klosterboer. To this union, two children were born: Audrey and Wayne. Cordelia was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She always enjoyed her quilt making with the Ladies Aid, her sewing, gardening, playing the organ at home plus her love for making homemade pies, cookies, and lefse. Cordelia passed away at her home on Thursday evening, March 4, 1999 in Camp Release Township, Lac qui Parle County at the age of 79 years, 4 months, and 22 days. She is survived by her husband, John; one daughter Audrey and husband Weldon Davis of San Antonio, Texas with two grandsons Matthew and Mark; and one son, Wayne and wife, Linda Klosterboer of Montevideo, MN with two granddaughters, Kerri and Kristine. She is also survived by one sister, Palma Moseng of Dawson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Myrtle Holumn and one brother, Menfred Anderson.
