IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Constance Serine
(Marcuson) Otterholt
September 27, 1886 – August 8, 1959
Constance Serine Otterholt was born in Granite Falls, Minnesota, on September 27, 1886, to Carl and Karrie Marcuson of that city. She was baptized and confirmed in Granite Falls Lutheran Church. She graduated from Granite Falls High School and Minneapolis Business College. Following her graduation she was employed at the Yellow Medicine County court house and the Granite Falls Telephone Company and on occasion acted as a substitute school teacher for her older brother who taught in the area. On November 24, 1917, she was married to Herman O. Otterholt. The marriage was blessed with two children: Edward, who is employed by the Department of the Army at the U.S. Army Electronic Proving ground at Fort Huachuca, Arizona and Howard, who is with the International Business Machines Corporation at Phoenix, Arizona. Following her marriage, she and her husband moved to Clarkfield where they have since resided. During her younger and middle years she enjoyed and was actively associated with various local fraternal and civic organizations; but due to declining health during recent years she could no longer participate. She recently suffered a severe hemorrhage and after several weeks of recurring strokes, quietly passed away on the morning of August 8, 1959, at the age of 72 years. Surviving her are her husband, two sons, and six grandchildren: John, Ann, Janet, James, Connie and Susan. Blessed be her memory. IN MEMORY OF MRS.
